Segovia

On Saturday we took a day trip to Segovia. It was about a 45 minute drive through the mountains, it was beautiful. We saw the Aqueducts that were built by the Romans at the end of the 1st century. It carries water from the Frio River to Segovia. It was built using granite blocks joined without using mortar or clamps. We also saw a beautiful Cathedral, Catedral de Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion. We then enjoyed there famous meal of suckling pig. Well Jeff enjoyed, I wasn't to sure about it! They bring you baby pig with its head, hooves, and all!

We also experienced the toll road. It was 7 euro there, and 10 euro back a little different than we are used to for a toll fee!
