Christmas 2012

Santa very good to all of us this year!

Christmas was so fun this year. Luca was really into it and loved all the excitement of Santa, presents, and family. But I also want him to know the true meaning of Christmas so we baked a cake for baby Jesus and sang him Happy Birthday.

Grandma's and Grandpa's, Aunts, and Uncles, and Santa were all way to good to Luca. He has so much new stuff to play with and keep him entertained. He is one lucky little boy. We had a wonderful holiday and I am sad it is all over!

SANTA, I Know Him!!!!

Luca has had several Santa sightings this holiday season! He loves Santa! I really thought he would be afraid, but I was wrong. He even gives Santa hugs and Kisses!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Jeff has been gone a lot for work lately, and has two more trips before Christmas, so he took a couple days before Thanksgiving off to make it a nice long break together as a family.

On Wednesday we went to Chicago to see the Macy's windows, Walnut room, tree, visit the ChristkindlMarket and do a little shopping. Luca behaved perfectly, even at a fancy Brazilian steakhouse; it is very rare that he behaves for an entire meal at a restaurant! He was great the entire day, which made the trip that much more enjoyable!

We spent Thanksgiving at Nate and Kai's. We fried the turkey, and had way too much too eat and drink! There were also some visitor's who rang the door bell after dinner. Murph and Walter, Drew's and Luca's Elves on the Shelf. Grammy and Papa got the kids Christmas Trains to go around the tree and an ornament. We ended the night playing Just Dance on the Wii and making fools of ourselves!

It's tradition to go and get our Christmas Tree the Day after Thanksgiving! We all stopped for breakfast fist and then went and picked out the perfect tree!

and then it was home to decorate!!!

What a great weekend spent with family! It's crazy to think that we should actually still be living in Spain. I am so glad to be home, these are the things I really missed most about being gone! We have so much to be thankful for!
