Madrid

This past Sunday we spent the day in Madrid. We took public transportation for the first time and it was much easier than we thought. We meet a few of Jeff's co-workers there and they showed us around. I was such a tourist, with my huge camera hanging around my neck. We started at Puerta de Sol and saw the Plaza Mayor,the Palacio Real (Royal Palace),the Plaza de Espana (with the statue of Don Quixote), the Templo de Debod (with the Egyptian Temples) and then enjoyed a nice lunch. It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed ourselves!
