Churros con Chocolate

Saturday evening we headed into Madrid on the Metro to experience the Christmas atmosphere. First we stopped at San Gines Chocolateria for some famous Churros y Chocolate. Hot chocolate is totally different here, and WAY better, it is pure chocolate warm in a cup! Mmmm! Luca loved them both and was crying for more!

We then walked Plaza Mayor which is filled with little Christmas huts and ton and tons of people!!!

Next, to the open market for some olives and wine...my two favorite things!!!

Finally onto Sol, to see the big Christmas Tree, there was so many people you couldn't even get through the streets, it was unbelievable. But we had tons of fun and it really put us in the Christmas Spirit. One week and we will be home!!!!
